Kennzeichen:

British naval brass cased wall clock, traditionally believed by the current owners, who have owned the clock for many many years to have been on one of the British naval ships sunk during the Falklands war.

Provenance - Owned by the same family for many years and was gifted to them by a close friend who told them he had purchased it as coming from a British ship "sunk" during the Falklands war.

If correct it probably came from either - H.M.S Sheffield which the navy made 5 visits too and stripped it of as many items is possible before it sank, likewise R.F.A Sir Galahad which was badly damaged during the conflict but was towed out to sea and sunk after the end of the Falklands war, presumably the navy would have recovered as many items as possible before sinking it or the R.F.A Tristram which wasn't sunk but badly damaged and towed back to the UK for refit and repairs. Believed to be in working condition
