Provenanced WWII Allgemeine SS Officer Visor Cap made by EREL of Berlin,
PROVENANCE - Purchased by the vendor from an American called Bernie Schethiro who purchased it from his friend in 2010. His friends family had owned the cap since the end of WWII when the grandfather, who was a lieutenant in the US army II Corps artillery had found the cap in a cupboard in an abandoned German command post which the II Corps Artillery then used it as their HQ for a period of time. The family believes this was in or around April 1945 in the Venezia region of Italy
