Bidspirit auction | An Assortment of Continental Bisque

An Assortment of Continental Bisque and Glazed Porcelain Figurines and Spill Vases - A collection of decorative porcelain items, including figurines and spill vases, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. The group features a variety of figures in 18th-century and rustic attire, rendered in a combination of bisque and glazed porcelain with hand-painted polychrome decoration in a pastel palette. The assortment includes a standing boy in a green frock coat and tricorn hat, a girl in a rustic blue and white dress, a taller figure of a girl in a cap and shawl, and a boy holding a basket of flowers. Also included are two spill vases: one featuring a girl with a swan beside a rustic well, and another foliate-moulded vase with a seated lute player at the base. These pieces are characteristic of the decorative cabinet porcelain produced in Europe during the late Victorian and Edwardian periods. No maker's marks or model numbers are visible on the pieces.
