A Collection of Vintage Real Scottish Plume Brooches and Kilt Pins - This collection of Scottish Highland dress accessories includes several plume brooches and kilt pins presented in original retail boxes. The items are constructed from natural feathers, including pheasant, peacock, and blue-barred jay varieties, alongside fur and white metal hardware. One piece features a circular fur mount with a central arrangement of feathers, while another displays a vibrant spray of green and pink plumage set within a horseshoe-shaped silver-tone mount accented by a faceted amber-coloured stone. Additional pins feature traditional speckled feathers in tapered mounts and a stylized bird-shaped brooch in blue and red feathers. One box is printed with Kiltmaker, Head Office: 4-9 Huntly Street, Inverness, and another is marked Made in the Highlands of Scotland expressly for THE CURIOSITY SHOP DUNOON.
