The Mexican suite includes a brooch and a pair of screw-back earrings, each featuring teardrop-shaped turquoise-coloured stone inlays with dark matrix veining set into silver-toned metal. The brooch is designed as a nine-leaf sprig, while the earrings feature four leaves each. An accompanying handwritten label identifies these pieces as sterling silver, attributed to Gregoria Jaures, Mexico, dating to circa 1950s-1975. The dragonfly brooch is crafted from gold-toned metal, featuring openwork filigree wings and a segmented body. Two small, faceted green stones are set into the head as eyes. The bangle is formed from silver-toned metal in a flat, teardrop-shaped profile. The exterior is engraved with the inscriptions LOVE, HOPE, and FAITH, separated by decorative scrollwork patterns.
