Two Vintage Brooches, including a Carved Shell Cameo and a Pink Swirl Cabochon - This lot comprises two items of vintage jewellery. The first is a circular brooch set with a pink and white swirled cabochon, possibly slag glass or agate, in a simple silver-tone metal bezel. The reverse is fitted with a pin and a safety clasp; faint, illegible impressions are present on the reverse metal. The second item is an oval cameo brooch and pendant combination. It features a hand-carved shell cameo depicting a classical female profile facing right. The cameo is secured by four prongs within a yellow metal frame featuring an ornate textured border. To the reverse is a pin with a rollover safety clasp and an integrated bail for suspension as a pendant. An illegible mark is located on the outer edge of the bezel.
