An Art Nouveau Style Silver-Coloured Metal Decorative Mount - A cast silver-coloured metal decorative mount in the Art Nouveau style, possibly intended for application to a box, book cover, or furniture. The piece features a symmetrical openwork design consisting of scrolling foliage and stylised poppy flowers and buds. The mount has a bright, polished finish. No hallmarks, silver fineness marks, or maker's stamps are visible on the obverse. The item is accompanied by a small plastic pouch containing a Black Silver Cloth and a paper insert from First Impressions, Lewes Road, Forest Row, East Sussex. Dimensions: Approximately 6cm to 8cm in width.
