Two Antique and Vintage Wooden Walking Sticks - This lot comprises two wooden walking sticks of distinct styles. The first is a hand-carved folk art walking stick crafted from a gnarled wood, likely blackthorn or hawthorn. The handle is carved into the form of a smiling human face with stylized features and a horizontal cylindrical projection from the side of the head. The collar area below the head is decorated with carved scrollwork and foliate motifs. The shaft retains a natural, knotted texture throughout its length. The second item is a traditional bentwood crook-handled walking cane with a smooth, polished hardwood shaft featuring faint horizontal banding. The terminal end of the crook handle is fitted with a white metal cap. Neither item displays visible maker marks, hallmarks, or inscriptions.
