A Pair of Chrome-Plated Metal Baoding Meditation Balls in a Brocade Presentation Box - This set comprises a pair of Baoding health balls manufactured by the Ancient City Health Ball Factory in Baoding, China. The spherical items are constructed from chrome-plated metal and are hollow, containing internal chimes designed to sound when moved. They are housed in a rectangular presentation box made of a rigid core material covered in a silver-grey synthetic silk brocade with a woven pattern of red and gold floral motifs. The interior of the box is lined with burgundy flocked fabric and has a red fabric panel inside the lid. An oval black adhesive label is applied to the exterior lid, featuring white printed capital letters reading ANCIENTCITYHEALTHBALLFACTORYBAODINGCHINA along the top edge. The centre of the label depicts two dragons in red and blue, with two large Chinese characters below. The bottom border of the label contains printed Chinese characters that read 中国保定古城健身球厂. A small blue-and-white paper instruction leaflet is included inside the box, featuring a dragon illustration and Chinese text that reads in part 定市古城健身球厂. The box is secured by a hinged metal clasp at the front.
