Two Pieces of Studio Pottery Cerulean Blue Glazed Vessels - Two pieces of studio pottery comprising a bowl and a vase, both finished in a vibrant cerulean blue glaze. The vase is of bulbous form with a flared rim and features vertical incised ribbing to the body terminating at the shoulder. The interior is finished in a matching blue glaze. The bowl is of rounded form with a slightly inverted rim, featuring a solid blue exterior and a contrasting mottled turquoise interior glaze with crystalline-like speckling to the centre of the well. Both pieces are constructed from a buff-coloured clay. The base of the vase features an incised mark consisting of two parallel vertical lines crossed by a single horizontal line, accompanied by a handwritten blue ink mark reading 6/H. The base of the bowl features a similar incised mark and a handwritten blue ink mark reading 4/H.
