A Group of Ceramic Tableware with Floral Decoration and Foliate Borders - A group of ceramic tableware decorated with multi-coloured transfer-printed botanical illustrations. The collection comprises two large plates, several plates of varying smaller sizes, and two mugs. The central motifs feature various wildflowers, including burgundy clematis, blue forget-me-nots, and yellow buttercups. Each piece is finished with a continuous green foliate vine border at the rim. The ceramic bodies are finished with a white glaze and the larger plates show a shallowly molded rim. A handwritten number 2251 is visible in black on the face of one luncheon plate. No manufacturer names, signatures, or marks are readable on the surfaces shown in the image.
