A Copeland Bone China Three-Piece Tea Service Set Retailed by A.B. Daniell and Sons - This English fine bone china three-piece tea service set was manufactured by W.T. Copeland and Sons and retailed through the London firm A.B. Daniell and Sons. The set comprises an open sugar bowl, a cream jug with a single scrolled handle and spout, and a matching scalloped oval tray. Each piece is constructed with a distinctive lobed body and a deeply scalloped rim. The decoration consists of hand-painted sprays of blue cornflowers with delicate green and tan foliage. Every piece is finished with a gilded scalloped rim, and the creamer handle is detailed with gilded accents. On the underside of each piece is a circular mark printed in pink ink reading WIGMORE ST at the top, DANIELL across the centre, and LONDON at the base. Below this is a green printed mark reading COPELANDS CHINA above ENGLAND. The underside of the tray also bears a hand-painted pattern number in iron-red reading S-587 followed by a small + symbol.
