A Collection of T.G. Green Cornish Kitchen Ware and Staffordshire Chef Ware Blue and White Banded Earthenware - A collection of blue and white banded earthenware kitchenware featuring the iconic horizontal striped design. The group includes several storage canisters and spice jars, many of which feature black transfer-printed labels in a serif font. The assortment comprises a large lidded canister for RAISINS, a medium lidded canister for COCOA, and several small lidded jars with labels for MACE, CINNAMON, NUTMEGS, CARBONATE OF SODA, PEPPER, and CREAM OF.... The set is completed by two open nesting bowls, an unlabelled small jar, and a small lidded bowl with a matching saucer. The base of the large canister is printed with a green shield-shaped mark reading T.G. GREEN & CO LTD, CHURCH GRESLEY, MADE IN ENGLAND. Several of the smaller spice jars feature a black printed shield-shaped mark with the text T.G. GREEN & CO LTD, CHURCH GRESLEY, MADE IN ENGLAND. One piece bears a black printed circular mark featuring a chef's head logo and the text STAFFORDSHIRE, CHEF WARE, MADE IN ENGLAND. Another piece bears a circular printed mark reading MADE IN ENGLAND.
