A Wedgwood Dragon Lustre porcelain bowl - A Wedgwood bone china bowl featuring lustre glazes and gilded decoration. The exterior is finished in a mottled deep blue and violet lustre glaze, decorated with a gilded stylized dragon and a scrolling border at the rim. The interior features a pale iridescent mother-of-pearl lustre glaze, with a central motif of a coiled dragon in red, blue, and gold tones. The interior rim is finished with a gilded scrolling band. On the base, there is a gold-printed circular mark containing a Portland Vase symbol above the words WEDGWOOD and ENGLAND. A hand-painted number in gold script reads Z4829 followed by a plus symbol. There is also a hand-painted mark in red consisting of the number 7 over a lowercase y. No dimensions are available as no scale is present in the photographs.
