Three Coalport Fine Bone China Egg-Shaped Trinket Boxes - A trio of English fine bone china egg-shaped trinket boxes, each consisting of a base and a separate lift-off lid. One egg is decorated in the Ming Rose pattern with transfer-printed stylized floral sprays in pink, yellow, blue, and green, finished with a matching floral border and gilt lining. The base bears a blue printed backstamp featuring a crown above the text BONE CHINA / COALPORT / MADE IN ENGLAND / EST. 1750 / Ming Rose. A second egg features the Strawberry pattern with transfer-printed fruit on the vine, foliage, and small insects including a beetle and a spider. The underside shows a black printed backstamp with a crown and registered trademark R in a circle above BONE CHINA / COALPORT / MADE IN ENGLAND / EST. 1750 / STRAWBERRY. The final egg is plain white with a wide gilt band at the junction and a lid surmounted by a hand-modelled and applied yellow rose with green leaves and two smaller buds. Its base has a blue printed backstamp with a crown above BONE CHINA / COALPORT / MADE IN ENGLAND / EST. 1750. A small white adhesive label with the number 2258 is present on the lid of the floral-encrusted egg.
