A Collection of British Decorative Ceramics including a Coalport Silver Jubilee Goblet and a Wedgwood Jasperware Plate - A collection of decorative British ceramics comprising six pieces and an associated purchase receipt. The group features a large fine bone china footed goblet with a gilded rim, decorated with a commemorative transfer-printed design for the 1977 Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. The exterior depicts the Royal Coat of Arms with the lion and unicorn supporters and is inscribed THE SILVER JUBILEE 1952-1977 HER MAJESTY QUEEN ELIZABETH II. The interior rim is further inscribed JUBILEE 1952-1977 HER MAJESTY. This piece is accompanied by an original paper receipt from Mulberry Hall, Stonegate York, dated 29.1.77, which records the purchase of a Coalport Silver Jubilee Goblet. The collection includes a Wedgwood Jasperware plate in blue stoneware with white bas-relief applications, depicting a figure in a sleigh pulled by reindeer within a continuous oak leaf and acorn border. A columnar fine bone china candlestick features black bands decorated with pink roses and summer flowers, accented with gold gilding. There are three lidded trinket pots: an oval bone china pot with floral sprays and the lid inscription It's Love I Know; a circular pot with a scalloped edge and a lid featuring a central transfer-printed floral bouquet; and a small circular pot with a lid surmounted by three-dimensional white rosebuds with silver-toned leaves.
