A Trio of Decorative Tableware Comprising a Pair of Maling Ceramic Dessert Bowls and a Turned Wood Bowl - An English trio of decorative tableware items including a pair of ceramic pedestal dishes and a turned wooden bowl. The ceramic pieces are fashioned as dessert or sundae bowls with foliate moulded exteriors in pale yellow and light green glazes. Each bowl features a scalloped rim finished with a silvered trim and an iridescent off-white lustre interior. The underside of the yellow bowl bears a black printed mark depicting a castle crest with the name MALING above and ENGLAND below. Two small vertical brown hand-painted strokes are also visible. The accompanying bowl is turned from a dark, figured wood with a thick rounded rim and a flared foot.
