Two antique copper vessels comprising a hammered kettle and a tapered pitcher - A collection of two antique copper items. The first is a lidded kettle or teapot featuring a hand-hammered or planished body and lid. The vessel is constructed with wrought brass handle supports secured by rivets, carrying an arched wooden handle grip. The lid is fitted with a black octagonal knob. The second item is a tapered copper pitcher or jug with a rolled rim and a cast brass handle riveted to the body. A white adhesive label is attached near the upper handle terminal, printed with the blue numeral 59; the remaining text on the label is not legible. No permanent maker's marks or country-of-origin stamps are visible on either piece.
