A Steiff Limited Edition 2004/05 Appolonia Margarete Mohair Teddy Bear c 23 cm seated - A fully jointed teddy bear crafted from golden-brown mohair plush featuring distinctive reddish-pink shaded tipping. The bear is constructed with traditional five-way disc jointing and features dark eyes alongside a hand-stitched brown thread nose and mouth. It is adorned with its original light blue satin ribbon tied in a bow at the neck. The bear was produced as a limited edition to commemorate the 125th anniversary of Margarete Steiff GmbH (1880-2005). The left ear contains a gold-toned metal button and a white fabric label printed in red. This label features the Steiff logo within a rectangular frame, the text Edition 2004/05, the model name Appolonia Margarete, and the individual edition number 01728. A vertical number 038129 is also printed on the tag. The bear is accompanied by a paper certificate titled ZERTIFIKAT which includes the manufacturer name MARGARETE STEIFF GMBH, the anniversary dates 125 JAHRE 1880-2005, and the product title TEDDYBAR APPOLONIA MARGARETE. The certificate also displays a yellow and red Steiff logo with the text KNOPF IM OHR and the phrase Freunde furs Leben.
