A vintage Steiff standing mohair dachshund dog model 0142/12 c 20 cm long - A vintage standing dachshund dog produced by Steiff. The toy is constructed from golden brown mohair with contrasting dark brown mohair ears. It features dark brown plastic eyes, a black stitched nose and mouth, and a short upright tail. The dog wears a green synthetic collar with a small silver-tone metal fastener. Attached to the left ear is a circular brass-coloured metal button embossed with the name Steiff in cursive script. Affixed to the same ear is a yellow fabric label printed in red with a bear head logo and the Steiff name in cursive script. The label also bears the vertical text KNOPF IM OHR and the model number 0142/12 printed at the lower edge.
