A Steiff Miniature Silver-Grey Mohair Teddy Bear c 10 cm tall - A miniature five-way jointed teddy bear manufactured in Germany by Steiff. The bear is constructed with a shaggy silver-grey mohair-style covering, which is identified on the tag as a blend of 50 per cent wool and 50 per cent cotton. It features grey felt paw pads, black bead eyes, and a hand-stitched black thread nose and mouth. The head, arms, and legs are movable. The bear retains several original identification marks. A yellow fabric ear tag is secured to the left ear by a brass button embossed with the Steiff name. The front of the tag is printed in red cursive script with the words Made in Germany by Steiff KNOPF IM OHR. The reverse of the tag is printed in red with the CE mark, the material composition Covering: 50% wool 50% cotton, and the model number 039416. A circular white and red cardboard chest tag is also present, featuring a central historic elephant logo and the printed text in Germany Steiff MARKE FABRIK classic.
