Steiff Limited Edition Mohair Paddington Bear Ornament 2018 c 13 cm tall - A Steiff miniature Paddington Bear ornament, manufactured in Germany in 2018. The bear is constructed from chestnut-coloured mohair, composed of 50 per cent mohair and 50 per cent cotton according to the included documentation. It features small black bead eyes and a hand-stitched black nose and mouth on a cream-coloured muzzle. The bear wears a signature red felt hat and a blue felt duffle coat, which is detailed with three gold-stitched toggles. A red ribbon loop for hanging is attached to the crown of the hat. The ornament retains all original identification. A white fabric tag is secured to the left ear with a gold-plated button. The front of this tag is printed with the Steiff logo, MADE IN GERMANY, and Collectors. The reverse side is printed with LED OF 4000 pcs., Paddington Bear TM orn., 02149, 2018, and the number 690396 in red. A striped card swing tag is attached, reading Steiff within a circle and KNOPF IM OHR. A small white fabric label bears licensing text for P&Co. Ltd. and Studiocanal. The bear is accompanied by an original printed Info card for EAN 690396 and a numbered Certificate of Authenticity. The certificate identifies this piece as number 2149 from a limited edition of 4,000 pieces worldwide. Height: 11 cm.
