An Assortment of Vintage Accessories Including a Metal Mesh Evening Bag Art Deco Style Costume Jewellery and a Pocket Lighter - A collection of early 20th-century personal accessories. The lot features a gold-tone metal mesh evening bag with an embossed hinged frame and a kiss-lock closure. The bag is suspended from a fine-link chain and is finished with a fringe of mesh strands each terminating in a small metal bead. Included is a two-part white metal buckle or clasp designed with an openwork fan motif and set with clear paste stones. The reverse side has a hook-and-loop fastening. The group includes two white metal dress clips: a triangular clip with a geometric openwork pattern set with clear paste stones and an elongated clip featuring a foliate design within an arched openwork frame also set with clear paste stones. The reverse of the triangular clip is stamped with the letters PAT followed by a series of numbers which are not clearly legible and an additional maker mark which is not legible as a name. Also included is a metal petrol pocket lighter with a decorative finish depicting a landscape with a pagoda and mountains in shades of blue white and green. Indistinct characters are present at the base of the design but are not legible.
