An Assortment of 2011 Kaohsiung Lunar New Year Commemorative Ephemera and Accessories including a Lorus Pocket Watch - An assortment of commemorative items and personal accessories relating to the 2011 Lunar New Year (Year of the Rabbit) and the administrative merger of Kaohsiung County and City in Taiwan. The lot includes a red die-cut card or folder featuring plum blossom motifs and a rabbit character. The card is printed with the Chinese text '2011 縣市團聚 一家親' (2011 County-City Reunion, One Family), '打造新高雄' (Building a New Kaohsiung), and '鴻兔大展' (Year of the Rabbit greeting), issued with the compliments of then-Mayor Chen Chu ('市長 陳菊 敬賀'). Inset into the card is a Republic of China commemorative coin for Year 100 (2011), featuring a profile portrait of Sun Yat-sen and the legend '中華民國一百年'. A gold-toned quartz pocket watch is included, featuring a white dial with black Roman numeral hour markers and black hands. The dial bears the printed name 'LORUS' below the 12 o'clock position and 'QUARTZ' above the 6 o'clock position. The lot also contains a small silver-toned multi-tool housed in a black nylon pouch with a metal tag stamped 'K.R.D. 2002', and a black pebble-grain textured key fob with a metal ring.
