A Nao by Lladró So Shy porcelain figurine model 1109 - A Spanish glazed porcelain figurine of a young girl. The figure is depicted standing in a floor-length white nightgown with a pensive expression, her head tilted downwards to the left and her hands held behind her back. Her light brown hair is styled in pigtails, each adorned with a pale blue bow. The piece is finished in a high-gloss glaze with a characteristic soft, muted colour palette. The underside of the figurine (photo 2) features a brown printed mark comprising a diamond-shaped logo containing a stylised sailboat, positioned next to the letters NAO. Below this, the mark reads HAND MADE IN SPAIN, followed by by LLADRÓ and a copyright symbol with the text © DAISA 1994. A faint and illegible impressed circular mark is also visible on the base.
