A Franklin Porcelain Hand Painted Bisque Bird Bell The Blue Tit by Peter Barrett 1981 - A hand-painted bisque porcelain collectible bell featuring a figural topper of a Blue Tit bird. The bird is depicted in a naturalistic pose, looking downwards from a branch of flowering quince adorned with red blossoms, green leaves, and delicate yellow stamens. The body of the bell is white with a matte finish and a gilded rim at the base. The interior contains a metal clapper suspended from a porcelain loop, terminating in a ceramic bead. The underside of the bell interior features black printed text reading THE BLUE TIT by followed by a printed signature of Peter Barrett and © 1981 FP.
