A Danish porcelain figurine of a mouse on a chestnut model number 511 - A glazed porcelain figurine produced in Denmark featuring a white mouse resting on a textured base. The mouse is sculpted in white glaze with small hand-painted pink details in the ears and a dark eye. It sits atop a rounded, textured base glazed in a muted grey-green colour to represent a chestnut burr. The figurine is finished with a smooth, high-gloss transparent glaze. The underside of the base bears several markings: a printed green device of a crown with a cross above the word DENMARK in block letters, which has a small dash under the letter U; three hand-painted horizontal wavy lines in blue; the number 511 hand-painted in green; and three hand-painted blue characters reading MMA.
