Coalport Fine Bone China The Parasol House Miniature Cottage - An English glazed fine bone china miniature building titled The Parasol House. The structure features a multi-tiered, parasol-like roof surmounted by a central chimney. The facade is designed with multiple projecting bays containing pierced and solid windows, each outlined with hand-painted gilt borders. A gabled entrance with a plain door is reached by a painted path. The piece is embellished with multiple hand-applied polychrome ceramic flowers, including varieties resembling pansies and roses. The integral base is finished with a textured, granulated border to simulate moss or sand. The underside of the base is marked with blue script reading The Parasol House by Coalport Fine Bone China Made in England. There is a small circular aperture to the centre of the base. Hand-painted numerals in a reddish pigment are also present on the underside, including 22 at the top and 77 to the right of the central hole.
