Coalport Fine Bone China The Summer House Cottage Figurine - An English fine bone china architectural model of a two-storey cottage titled The Summer House. The piece features a white-glazed body with a steeply pitched roof and an oval base. It is embellished with three-dimensional hand-modelled floral clusters in shades of pink, blue, purple, and red-orange applied to the roof, front facade, and garden areas. A yellow flower finial sits at the peak of the roof. The edges of the roof, the corners of the building, and the garden beds are decorated with a hand-applied buff-coloured granulated grit texture. The windows, door frame, and the perimeter of the base are highlighted with gold-painted lines. The underside of the base (photo 2) features a handwritten inscription in blue script reading '” The Summer House ” by C Coalport Fine Bone China Made in England.' Below this is a small, hand-painted mark in gold-coloured pigment consisting of the character 'y'. A paper auction house tag numbered '2358' is adhered to the left side of the base (photo 1).
