A Franklin Porcelain Hand-Painted Bisque Porcelain Bird Bell The Wren by Peter Barrett 1981 - A hand-painted bisque porcelain decorative bell featuring a three-dimensional figure of a wren perched at the apex. The bird is rendered with an open beak and detailed textured plumage in shades of brown, tan, and cream. The handle is integrated into the design as a winding blackberry branch with relief-moulded green leaves, small thorns, and clusters of berries transitioning in colour from pale pink to deep purple and black. The bell interior contains a metal clapper with a cream-coloured bead. Printed in black on the inner wall is the title THE WREN by followed by a printed signature reading Peter Barrett and the mark © 1981 FP. The FP mark corresponds to the manufacturer Franklin Porcelain.
