A Trio of Antique English Pocket Watch Movements including Rhodes of Kendal and J. Wood and Son of Darwen - An assortment consisting of three uncased antique pocket watch movements of English origin. The first movement features a white enamel dial with printed black Roman numeral hour markers and a railway minute track. A subsidiary seconds dial is positioned at the 6 o'clock mark. The dial is printed in black with the characters RHODES over KENDAL. It retains a pair of gold-toned spade-shaped hour and minute hands and a dark sub-seconds hand. The second movement features a white enamel dial with Roman numerals and a subsidiary seconds dial at the 6 o'clock position. The dial is printed in black with the characters J. WOOD & SON over DARWEN. One main hand is missing from this movement. The third movement is a centre-seconds chronograph with a white enamel dial featuring Roman numeral hour markers, an inner minute track, and a specialized outer scale numbered from 0 to 300. The dial is printed in black with the characters CENTRE SECONDS over CHRONOGRAPH. The movement retains gold-toned spade hour and minute hands and a long blued steel centre-seconds hand. The lot includes three detached, rusted metal components which appear to be fragments of a watch case or bow.
