Beswick Ware Art Deco Style Twin Handled Ribbed Earthenware Vase - A British earthenware twin-handled vase featuring a ribbed body and Art Deco influenced styling. The vessel is finished in a sky blue matte glaze, decorated with a variegated drip-glaze effect in shades of pale green and sandy brown extending from the rim down the upper half of the body. The form includes two vertical strap handles and a rim, both accented with a moulded beaded or hobnail texture. The base bears an impressed shape number 395. Below this is a printed mark in a cursive script reading Beswick Ware, followed by the capitalised words MADE IN ENGLAND. A small hand-painted mark in blue, resembling the character b, is also present on the base. Width across handles: 14 cm Base diameter: 7.5 cm Height: 16.5 cm.
