Mid-century modern grey glazed ceramic wall pocket with floral spray decoration - A mid-century modern wall pocket vase featuring a distinctive crescent-shaped rim and a D-shaped pedestal base. The vessel is constructed from glazed earthenware, finished in a glossy charcoal grey to the exterior and a white glaze to the interior and base. The front face is decorated with a white stencil or transfer-printed design depicting a stylized floral spray of leaves and sprigs. The reverse is flat-backed to sit flush against a wall and contains a single pre-drilled keyhole aperture for hanging. The underside of the pedestal base features the numeral 2448 impressed into the ceramic body. The mark is located near the curved edge of the foot rim. No other factory names or signatures are present.
