White Glazed Ceramic Shell Motif Wall Pocket - A monochrome white glazed ceramic wall pocket designed for wall-mounted floral display. The form features a flared, fan-shaped body rising from a fluted base modelled in the shape of a scallop shell. The reverse is flat and incorporates a decorative integral hanging bracket with a pierced central aperture and three smaller triangular piercings. The item is finished in a uniform white glaze over an earthenware or ironstone body. The reverse of the piece features an impressed numerical mark located centrally above the support, consisting of the digits 277. The mark is impressed into the clay body.
