Vintage White Metal and Hematite Intaglio Roman Soldier Signet Ring Weight: 3.10 g. - A vintage signet style cocktail ring, featuring a classicizing intaglio set in a yellow gold alloy. The central oval stone is a grey-black hematite, featuring a carved profile of a Roman soldier or centurion wearing a crested helmet and holding a spear. The stone is held by six decorative claws in an openwork gallery. The shoulders of the ring are trifurcated with an openwork geometric design.
