A Collection of Six Gilt Metal Rococo Style Decorative Mounts - A set of six cast metal decorative mounts in the Rococo revival style, finished with gilding. The group consists of one large central mount and five matching smaller mounts. The central mount is designed with symmetrical acanthus leaf scrollwork and terminates in a large, textured bulbous boss. The five smaller mounts each feature a winged cherub or putto above a fluted, curved arm ending in a decorative pinecone finial. The casting shows intricate detail in the cherubs and foliate work. No maker marks, signatures, or character inscriptions are visible on the front surfaces of these items.
