An Assortment of Decorative Items including a Pink Satin Glass Biscuit Barrel and Miniature Artwork - This collection comprises a Victorian style satin glass biscuit barrel, a frosted glass figurine, and two miniature framed artworks. The biscuit barrel is constructed from cased glass with a pink exterior and white interior. The body is decorated with hand-painted enamel motifs of autumnal maple leaves and small white and yellow flowers. It features a metal lid and swing handle; the lid is stamped with a scrolling foliate pattern and is finished with a knop finial. The frosted glass figurine depicts a reclining animal, possibly a seal pup, resting on a clear octagonal glass base. One miniature artwork is a rectangular portrait of a young woman with brown hair, set within a ceramic frame that has a mottled brown and cream glaze. The second piece is a small rectangular brass frame containing an oval porcelain insert at the top, which depicts a classical romantic scene featuring two figures in a landscape. No maker marks, signatures, or labels are visible on any of the items in the group.
