Bidspirit auction | A Trio of Sheraton Revival

A Trio of Sheraton Revival Nesting Mahogany Side Tables - A set of three nesting side tables of graduated size, constructed in the Sheraton Revival style. Each table features a rectangular mahogany top with a central panel of figured mahogany veneer. The tops are embellished with satinwood crossbanding and a decorative barber-pole pattern inlay of ebony and boxwood stringing. The largest table displays a lighter, honey-toned mahogany finish, while the two smaller tables retain a deeper reddish-brown hue. The tables are supported by slender, ring-turned, and tapering spider legs, which are joined by H-form box stretchers for structural stability. The legs terminate in small, turned feet. No maker's marks or labels are visible on the pieces.
