A Collection of Antique and Vintage Cast Iron Kitchen Scales and Accessories - A group of domestic kitchenalia comprising two sets of balance scales, a set of weights, a manual mincer, and a scoop. The largest item is a Victorian-style balance scale featuring a black-painted cast iron body and a white enamel-coated metal weighing pan with a blue rim. The base has raised lettering that reads TO WEIGH. The second set of scales is smaller in scale, constructed from black-painted cast iron with a circular brass weighing pan. A circular plaque on the base of these scales is marked SALTER MADE IN ENGLAND. Accompanying the scales is a graduated set of five brass weights of circular form, designed to nest within one another. The lot also includes a bench-mounted manual food mincer finished in bright blue enamel with a turned wooden handle grip, and a small metal scoop featuring a green-painted wooden handle.
