An Assortment of Vintage Costume Brooches and Pins in Presentation Cases - A collection of vintage costume jewellery consisting of various brooches and pins presented in two fitted cases. The lot includes a large gold-tone metal brooch in the form of a violin with embossed scrollwork and a traditional hinged pin with a C-clasp. A handmade folk art brooch features green yarn backing with red, pink, and light blue yarn floral clusters, accented by a small white plastic flower. A gold-tone stick pin is decorated with a red and yellow enamelled strawberry motif. The collection further includes a large circular silver-tone brooch featuring a relief of a figure on horseback, and several pieces of jewellery featuring iridescent abalone shell inlays, including a leaf-shaped brooch and linked segments set in silver-tone metal. A delicate gold-tone wire filigree leaf brooch is present, alongside a rectangular silver-tone brooch containing a vibrant blue-green iridescent foil or art glass centre. Housed in a red case are a gold-tone shell-shaped brooch and an oval brooch pavé-set with iridescent aurora borealis rhinestones. The red box features a gold-stamped crest on the violet silk interior lining with text reading SANDITAS and BELFAST. A second black case contains a large gold-tone feather brooch, a gold-tone flower brooch, a small painted plaque brooch, and various smaller bar pins.
