A Set of Silver Plated Neo-Rococo Style Tea and Coffee Service Items - A set of four silver plated hollowware items in a decorative Victorian Rococo Revival style. The set consists of a tall coffee pot, a teapot, a two-handled sugar bowl, and a cream jug. Each piece is constructed with a heavy lobed form featuring elaborate repoussé work including floral and foliate scrolls. The pieces are raised on four ornate cast scroll feet. Both the coffee pot and teapot are fitted with hinged lids topped by bird-form finials, possibly depicting eagles or phoenixes, and their handles incorporate white bone or ivory-effect insulating rings. The pouring spouts terminate in stylized animal-head motifs. The interior of the cream jug and sugar bowl show a polished metal finish. No maker's marks, hallmarks, or country of origin marks are visible on the exterior surfaces in the provided images.
