An Assortment of Antique and Vintage Copper and Brass Metalware - A collection of mixed copper and brass hollowware and decorative objects. The group includes a large, circular-bodied wrought copper kettle with a fixed overhead copper handle, a fitted lid with a central vent hole, and a swan-neck spout. Also included is a large cylindrical brass pail with a flared rim and a dark metal arched handle. A deep, cylindrical brass bowl features extensive chased and embossed decoration including bands of calligraphic script and floral motifs. A smaller brass ewer or pitcher with a bulbous body and flared neck displays repoussé floral and foliate patterns. The collection further contains a cast metal figurine of a metalworker with a hammer and anvil, a miniature copper and brass teapot, two turned brass candlesticks, a small copper cup, a small bowl, and two turned brass finials. The large kettle and pail show evidence of wrought construction, while the decorative bowl and pitcher feature hand-chased and embossed details. The figurine and candlesticks are cast. There are no maker's marks or signatures visible on the exterior surfaces of the items.
