A Collection of UK George VI Silver and Cupro-Nickel Coinage - A collection of UK coinage primarily from the reign of King George VI, housed in two clear plastic bags. The assortment includes florins (two shillings) and sixpences. The coins feature the bare-headed left-facing portrait of King George VI on the obverse. Reverse designs include the crowned cruciform shields with floral emblems (rose, thistle, and shamrock) for the florins and the crowned GR monogram for the sixpences. Visible dates include 1940 and 1945, indicating the presence of .500 fine silver issues minted prior to 1947. Later issues are likely composed of cupro-nickel. The smaller bag contains a printed black text reading MIXED and other illegible markings.
