Bidspirit auction | Silver Gelatin Print of Staplegrove

Silver Gelatin Print of Staplegrove Post Office in a Mahogany Frame - A monochromatic silver gelatin print depicting the Staplegrove Post Office, a traditional English thatched cottage. The two-storey building features a thick thatched roof with multiple chimneys and a small gabled porch. A woman in period dress stands by a wooden gate set into a low stone wall at the front of the property. A sign mounted to the cottage wall bears three lines of text, with the characters Staplegrove legible on the top line, Post Office on the second, and Teas on the third. The print is housed in a wide, dark-stained wood frame with a visible grain, likely mahogany, featuring a small metal hanging loop at the top centre. The photograph is mounted behind glass.
