A Moorish Style Pierced Metal Table Lantern with Coloured Glass Insets - A decorative hexagonal Moorish style lantern constructed from pierced metal with a distressed brass-toned finish. The lantern is composed of a domed top cap and a tapering body, both featuring extensive geometric and floral fretwork. The upper section is divided by embossed braided guilloche bands and is set with multi-coloured marquise-cut glass cabochons in red, purple, orange, green, and blue hues. The main body consists of larger pierced panels, several of which are backed with translucent coloured glass, including visible red and amber panels. The piece is fitted with a black electrical cord exiting through the base for modern use as a lamp. No maker's marks, signatures, or country-of-origin stamps are visible on the exterior surfaces.
