A Noritake Teresa Pattern Porcelain Tea and Coffee Service - A porcelain tea and coffee service featuring a white ground decorated with the Teresa pattern. The design consists of a transfer-printed continuous band of scrolling green vines and foliate motifs interspersed with orange and yellow flowers. Each piece is finished with gold-tone gilding to the rims, handles, and pedestal bases. The service comprises a lidded teapot, a lidded sugar bowl, a milk jug, a large circular plate, several teacups with flared rims and pedestal bases, and two stacks of matching saucers. The underside of the large plate features a red printed backstamp within a decorative scrolled cartouche. The mark reads Contemporary FINE CHINA by Noritake SRI LANKA. Below the cartouche, the pattern name TERESA is printed, followed by the pattern number 2688 and a copyright symbol.
