Bidspirit auction | A Pair of Georgian Style

A Pair of Georgian Style Cast Brass Candlesticks - A pair of heavy cast brass candlesticks featuring a traditional Georgian form. Each candlestick is constructed with a multi-knop stem that includes a central faceted section, a feature characteristic of mid-18th-century English brassware. The stems are set upon stepped square bases with clipped corners. The sconce cups have flared rims and deep sockets for candle placement. The underside and exterior surfaces show no visible maker's marks, signatures, or hallmarks.
