Two Vendome Paris French Tailoring Torsos - Two vintage French dressmaker mannequins or tailoring torsos. Each torso is constructed from a firm internal material, likely papier-mâché or fiberglass, and is covered in a cream-coloured woven textile. The forms are shaped to represent the female upper body, intended for display or professional garment construction. A red-brown oval stamp is printed on the lower front of one form, reading VENDOME in the centre, encircled by FAUBOURG ST HONORE and PARIS VIII. On the side of one torso, there is a small white adhesive label with blue text reading FABRIQUÉ EN FRANCE positioned above a printed French tricolor flag (blue, white, and red). The torsos are designed for use with stands, although no hardware or bases are included in this lot.
