A Collection of Ten Silver Plated Napkin Rings - A group of ten silver-plated napkin rings of two distinct designs. The collection includes six stylized swan form napkin rings, each cast with a polished, reflective finish. The body of the swan forms the ring, with the neck and head curving downwards in a modernised waterfowl motif. The remaining four rings are of cylindrical form with wide bands, featuring embossed foliate and scroll decoration in the Victorian style. The interiors of the cylindrical rings are finished with a vertically ribbed engine-turned texture. No maker's marks or hallmarks are legible on any of the pieces; a small dark mark is present on the interior of one swan ring (photo 2), but the characters are not legible as a name. Plating wear is visible to the base metal, particularly on the swan necks.
