Tea and coffee set, model Bambou, Art Nouveau, Christofle , Paris 1878-1889
A rare Silver Plate Tea Set of High Quality by CHRISTOFLE,
the service has 6 parts (tray plus 5), the Bambou modal signed and numbered (each item is signed) was probably custom made for order.
Each item is designed with a rounded handle in a Bamboo design, and engraved with flowers and leafs typical to the art Nouveau period.
Rings to isolate the heat.
Holographic etchings in the center of each of the item.
the set includes:
a teapot on a stand with a place to put a wick, height including the handle- 44 cm.
coffee pitcher, height- 20 cm.
milk jug, height- 22 cm
sugar bowl with, height- 15 cm
cream jug, height- 11 cm
large tray, size including the handles- 67*47 cm
condition- good-very good, light flaws, minor unnoticeable dents , small parts missing from the isolating rings.
A rare wonderful set we are writing the minor flaws to be very accurate with the description but the item would love lovely in every home.
